145 Brigade conducts a number of community focused activities to raise awareness of its role and purpose. By speaking to local authorities and the local community we ensure they are aware of the Army's purpose and needs.

Community Engagement activities, such as the Aldershot Army Show, provide an excellent recruiting platform and an ideal opportunity for us to talk direct to the local community on such issues as health, education and housing.

Further to this, events like the Army Presentation Team brief to local authorities highlight the demands and rewards of Army life and the challenges facing soldiers and their families. Many are unaware of what military life entails.

Our commitment to recruiting, retention and generating awareness of the Army's needs within the local community forms a vital part of our business and gives the soldier the reassurance needed when deploying on operations.
